Hey this is cool. Ride 1,000 miles and use tech to raise money for a good cause. I’d not heard of Just Giving before Corey told me of his plans for the Iron Butt ride later this year.
I was familiar with the Iron Butt, but not the Royal British Legion Riders version which first took place in 2009 when 171 riders completed a gruelling 1,000 miles in 24 hours and raised over £33,000 for the Poppy Appeal.
To find out more about the Royal British Legion Riders and help Corey reach his personal fundraising target please visit his personal website page or download the iPhone app for your next fundraiser. It really is simple, just a few clicks and your done.
Even better, donating through Just Giving is fast and totally secure. Your details are safe – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate – and helps Corey raise more, whilst saving everyones time and cutting costs for the charity.
So please dig deep and donate now. I have!
